Renaissance Asheville Downtown Hotel. They have reasonably large pool and a hot jacuzzi which we all enjoyed. A bit pricey but the location was convenient and we could walk to most restaurants. Residences at Biltmore. Condo was clean and well stocked. Hilton Garden Inn Asheville South. I was really impressed with the outdoor area, spacious and feels safe. Everyone was nice, clean room, great location. Red Roof Inn Asheville West. Truly enjoyed my stay would definitely come back.

Located adjacent to the Omni Grove Park Inn, this site once housed the weaving and woodworking operations of Biltmore Industries, a force in American craft and textiles that was originally backed by Edith Vanderbilt.
Grovewood Gallery is open daily year-round. Grovewood Village has no admission fees, and free parking is available on-site. Thomas Wolfe Memorial. Thomas Wolfe’s childhood home, immortalized in his novel, “Look Homeward Angel,” is preserved intact as a lasting monument to one of the 20th century’s most prominent writers. The house, originally operated as a boardinghouse by his mother, retains most of its original furnishings and is designated as a National Historic Landmark. Very convenient.

This hotel is just minutes from downtown Asheville. The staff we came in contact with was helpful. The room was super clean! We would stay again. Rooms were good – clean and comfortable. Location was quite far out of downtown but no problem as we had a car and parking was free. Nice clean hotel. Nicely located right near downtown Asheville. So that was walking distance. Staff were helpful and friendly. On the edge of Asheville but satisfactory especially as there was an excellent restaurant very near the hotel.
You cannot beat the location of this hotel in downtown Asheville. Wonderful breakfast, fresh fruit, good coffee , bagels , cream cheese , peanut batter , yogurt…. Breakfast was excellent, we stayed for 3 nights. Each day there were a couple of special items that were different from previous days. We had chosen our dining time, thus the food was served promptly and hot! Amazing place to stay: luxury style, outstanding service, beautiful nature and breathtaking views!
The house we stayed in, 16, was furnished very nicely and decorated with items from Western NC. It also had a large, fully furnished kitchen with a Kurig, which was wonderful having coffee quickly. There was a great assortment of board games that our grandchildren really enjoyed.
There was also an outside porch swing and a tree swing that our grandchildren loved! Lovely place to stay. Lots of walks and bike paths. The cabin exceeded all of our exceptions. EVERY amenity was provided.
The maintenance staff unloaded our car and carried down all the stairs into the cabin and refused any tip The cabin looked like it had been scrubbed from top to bottom The kitchen was beyond stocked with utensils 5 star rating.
