If you’re going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds. We’ve been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops.
They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only. We tried to change our time and they said we couldnt , when we got there we noticed that was not by appointment There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate.
