Distinguished by its modern architecture, the hotel is artfully styled — guest reviews particularly praise the cozy atmosphere of the courtyard, complete with a fire pit and barbecue.

The Applewood Manor. Right in the Montford Historic District of Asheville, the Applewood Manor sits on a knoll surrounded by giant wild cherry and apple trees, oaks and pines. Only 3mi 5km from Biltmore Estate — and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway — this is an ideal gateway to many outdoor adventures.

Rooms feature top-of-the-line beds and linens and curated bath products, luxurious robes, fine teas and coffee, homemade cookies and Bluetooth speakers. Every morning, the property offers a complimentary farm-to-table breakfast with locally sourced ingredients — enhance your stay by taking advantage of the cycling and culinary programs.

The Windsor Boutique Hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the best restaurants, breweries , shops and galleries in downtown Asheville — featuring luxury suites with a fully equipped kitchen and an ample living room where you can unwind. The on-site spa features exclusive body treatments and massage therapies. The hotel is home to a fine art gallery and a wine bar, while showcasing exquisite pieces of local and French artwork.

The Reynolds Mansion. The Mansion is one of the few brick houses surviving in western North Carolina from before the Civil War. Convenient to Biltmore, it is also close to delightful eating places, though not walking distance. Consider Brookstone if you are headed for Asheville. Note, however, that it is at 4 Roberts Road.

Almost forgot. Victoria, at the desk, was VERY helpful in giving us directions for our subsequent trip. She deserves a bit of praise.

Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. The hotel is everything you would expect from a Hilton and more. The staff is helpful and accommodating. James greeted us with a warm smile at the front desk.

He made sure our requests were honored. Then Jim offered to help with our luggage. He overheard me request for more hangers. He took it upon himself to look in storage and was able too rustle up a few more for us. So nice to see two employees doing their best to make a customer happy. It makes for a pleasant stay. Sleep Inn Asheville-Biltmore West. We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were clean. This is one of the quitest hotels I have stayed in. The location for us was perfect.

We visited Biltmore, Chimney Rock and several other areas and we had no issues. The free breakfast was good, the area was kept clean. They have a back patio that was wondferful to sit out side with your breakfast, or we even brought dinner back several nights and ate there. I would stay here again. Very good, warm front desk, new rooms, comfortable beds, cost-effective Show more. Missed flight with all the anxiety and messiness.

Looked for a place, near the airport, with a free shuttle. Relatively new place with very friendly and helpful staff. They were at the airport in 10 minutes and picked us up. The entire hotel is very clean and well kept, including regular and thorough cleaning of the common areas. Our room was over-sized and very comfortable. The beds were great and sleep came easy. There was a small , well appointed kitchen with all appliances and dishes and up-dated bathroom.

Considering Covid, even the continental breakfast was well done. Very nice place, good value, a pleasurably stay considering the circumstances. Comfort Inn Asheville Biltmore West.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting The Biltmore. This is an average hotel. The driveway has a steep incline and you could see where vehicles have scrapped and gouged the pavement. If you are hauling a trailer you may have issues.

The employees were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was sufficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The biggest concern for us was the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. There are many people hanging out near the Rodeway Inn that seem to be up to some kind of sketchy activities.

There are cars torn apart and not licensed that they seemed to be using for shelter. Lots of drive up traffic stopping to talk to these people. Probably will not stay here again. Very nicely surprised at not only the character of the hotel but the natural beauty of the mountain views from my hotel room.

A special thanks to Ericka in the restaurant making our visit exceptional. Standard Extended Stay of America room with a kitchenette. Priced higher than most other cities. But I didn’t mind the higher prices and fees. The extremely nosy annoying night shift staffs was what bothered me the most and I would never ever return to this location because of them and their obnoxious nosy behaviors especially the 60 ish short, heavy build woman and her blonde hair friend.

She watched me closely the second I drove and parked on the parking lot and continued watching me in my car as I was booking for a room online until I stepped out of the car into the lobby. She then opened the door and so pretentiously saying that one of head light was out and that she didn’t want me to get pulled over because of it. I’m like and who are you? She didn’t tell me who she was or even if she was an employee.

She continues glaring at me as I checked in with the front desk employee. She and her blonde hair friend continued watching me and rudely talked about me from the lobby where they sat the whole entire night, wow!!!

Her blonde hair friend also watched me carefully removing my things and groceries as she was smoking outside the front door. Jesus Christ, they treated me as if I was a bad person stealing things from my own car!!!

I never felt this horrible staying at any of the other Extended stay of America before. And I have stayed at tons of Extended stay of America after driving cross country all the way from California. These night shift employees were the worst I had ever seen or experienced. If This Extended stay of America in Asheville was the only hotel available next time I’m in Asheville then I’d rather sleep in my own car to save myself from another horrible experience with these employees. If you’re going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds.

We’ve been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only.

We tried to change our time and they said we couldnt , when we got there we noticed that was not by appointment There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate. Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn’t enjoy the visit.

Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it. This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We had a great 2n stay here, on what was our first visit to Asheville.

Would highly recommend this to anyone for the proximity to the estate. Breakfast selection was good. The quality was microwave style foods which didn’t taste very good, but to each its own. I appreciate the variety in the options they did have so there is something for several palettes.
